Creator Leaderboard: Rank for Making Puzzles
· Puzzle Feed
- Tap Leaderboard in the bottom bar.
- You see three tabs: Players, Creators and Fans.
- Tap Creators.
- See who makes the puzzles people answer the most.
Open almost any puzzle app and the leaderboard tells you one thing: who solved the most.
Puzzle Feed has that too. But it also has something most puzzle apps don't: a creator leaderboard.
Why rank creators?
Puzzle Feed is a feed of puzzles made by real people. Solving is only half of the app. The other half is making a puzzle that other people enjoy.
If only players were ranked, the people who keep the feed full would get nothing back. A creator leaderboard gives them a reason to keep making puzzles, and a way to be seen.
How creators are ranked
A creator's score is based on how many times people answer the puzzles they made. Make puzzles people want to play, and your score climbs.
That means you don't need to be the fastest solver to do well. You need to make puzzles that other people pick up and finish.
Time ranges and puzzle types
Rankings aren't one big list that never changes:
- All time, for the long-term leaders.
- Last 30 days, so a new creator can break in.
- Monthly boards, to see how a particular month went.
- Per puzzle type, so a great Wordle maker can top the Wordle board without competing against every Cross Math creator.
There is also an overall board across all puzzle types.
Your own rank
Your profile shows your creator rank next to your player rank. You can open a game-wise view to see where you stand in each puzzle type you've played or created in.
Players and creators, both on the board
The two boards sit side by side in the app. You can be a strong player, a strong creator, or both.
- Choose the Wordle puzzle type on the create screen.
- Enter a single valid word as the answer.
- The answer can be 4, 5 or 6 letters long (5 by default), letters only.
- Post it and watch others try to guess it.
Want to try for the creator board? Pick a puzzle type, make one, and post it. Read the Wordle guide or browse all 16 puzzle types for ideas.
